About Me

Hi there! ๐ I’m Vladimir.
Welcome to my digital garage. I call myself a Frontend Enthusiast because I love the web not for the frameworks, but for how it works “under the hood.”
Where did this site come from?
It all started back in the early 2010s. Back then, my Firefox was bursting at the seams with bookmarks of cool code chunks. I saved everything: from tricky CSS hacks and tutorials to elegant scripts. By 2016, my “Favorites” folder had become unmanageable, and I realized: it was time to build a proper home for this collection.
I got tired of Googling the same things over and over again. I was tired of digging through tons of pages on GitHub and CodePen just to find that one lightweight slider without jQuery or the perfect CSS gallery.
Thatโs how this site was born. My rules are simple:
Hand-picked. No auto-generation here. I personally sift through CodePen and other resources. If a snippet is here, it means it has been vetted for quality and style; 2. No Bloat. I am a fan of Vanilla JS and pure CSS. If a problem can be solved without heavy libraries, we solve it without them; 3. Copy-Paste Friendly. The code should work immediately. Grab it, paste it, tweak it to fit your needs.
The Philosophy (Tech Stack)
This catalog is fast, lightweight, and independent.
- Engine: Hugo (because static is forever).
- Style: Plain CSS (zero overhead).
- Logic: Minimal Vanilla JS.
If you found a solution here that saved you an hour of work - then it was all worth it.
